Friday night, all of the guys came over to the house and played poker. Emalynn went down about 10:30 or so, so I was able to relax and hang out with the guys. Amanda and I made a few drinks and we watched them play...
Saturday, we went over to my mother-in-law's house. Her parents (Jon's maternal grandparents) are here from Michigan, so we had BBQ and hung out with them. That's always fun. They enjoyed the company of all of the grandkids and the great grandkids. Some of us went to Katy Mills...I hadn't been in about a year and half. It was fun. I hate being rushed, but it was fun.
Sunday, we went to Hooter's, yes, Emalynn, too! All of the girls were goo-goo over her. We ordered some wings, and of course, Emalynn had to be Emalynn...wanting to run around everywhere. Getting in the way...going places she wasn't supposed to. So, needless to say, Emalynn, Amanda, and I left earlier than everyone else to get out of there. That's ok...Jon had lots of fun, drinking beer, and watching the Packers lose against the Vikings...oh well...you win some, you lose some!
