I decided to join last minute for my neighbor's mom - Diane. She is a 19 1/2 year survivor! She is such an amazing woman with such strength it's touching! I asked Tracie to join me and she obliged. She walked in celebration of her cousin!
The walk was great...a great way to support such a good cause and to get some much needed exercise in! lol! But the most touching part of the race was the Survivor Lane. The walk was 3.2 miles, and at about the 3 mile marker, there was a separation of the survivors to the left where they were greeted with cheers and claps and a beautiful pink carnations.
