NLCS = National League Championship Series!!!
Astros and St. Louis are going head to head to see who can go to the World Series and represent the National League!
Tonight's game was tremendous! I honestly, and truely had faith from the beginning. There's no telling how soon the Astros could have won the series against Atlanta, but winning it in 5 is just fine. The most amazing things are:
1) Astros came back to win 36 games out of 46 games since August 15th to clinch the Wild Card.
2) Astros have finally made it past the first round of the playoffs in the history of the franchise (42 years) for the first time!
3) The Astros actually stand a chance to beat the Cardinals and go to the World Series. The Astros have won 6 out of the last 7 games against St. Louis and are actually the ONLY team to have a winning record against the Cardinals this year!
I am SOOO excited for them! Let's go all the way!! BEAT THE RED BIRDS!!
