Friday Fave Five

Susanne at Living to Tell the Story hosts a “Friday Fave Five” in which we share our five favorite things from the past week. Here are mine:





1. KSBJ's GIRLS NIGHT OUT...all I can say is WOW, what an experience! Getting to meet my daily inspirations in life in person was a dream come true! Lysa signed 2 of my books, and the line to have Kate sign her book was absurd! We left there at 11:45...our spirits full of desire to say YES to God!

2. Girls Night Out with Jessica on Sunday. Jessica is such a great person inside and out - always willing to go above and beyond. She was going to watch Emalynn for me on Monday since it was MLK Day and school was closed. So I decided to treat her to a girly movie and some "girl" time away from her kids. We saw Bride Wars and it was great - such an inspiring movie...you guys should definitely go watch it! :)

3. Inauguration Day 2009. What a special day - in general - a day of the swearing in of a new president, for a new term, for new changes, for a new outlook on things, for new aspirations. Say a prayer for our current president - that God be the Rock in his life!

1 I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. 4. Prayer and Faith. Thank you Lord, for the opportunity to come to you each day, each time we need prayer, or those around us need prayer. I have spent lots of time this week praying over my husband and my daughter. For healing...the healing touch that only God can bestow upon them. And for faith, in believing that God would heal them in His timing...and accepting that.

5. Blogger. What a way to escape...what a way to get input from your girlfriends, from strangers lurking in? I'm so glad I have an outlet...a form of staying in touch with those from afar...and being able to share everyday things in my life with those who let me in to theres! :)
