There was a Cat, a dog, and a Lady...bug that is!

Aunt Manda to the rescue! She came over this morning and put the finishing touches on Emalynn's costume! It looks great! Now all we need to do is get Emalynn ready for the pictures.

We get to JCPenney and we see Bree waiting there for us. She got the kids their costumes and we found out that Aiden was going to be a dog, and Olivia was going to be a Ladybug!

Olivia was dressed up in her dress and so was Emalynn. They looked so cute! The sad part was that it took a few minutes for Emalynn to get warmed up. She was so afraid of the ladies ~ maybe she thought they were going to give her a shot or something. It took about 4 different poses to get Emalynn to sit down, etc. Finally she loosened up and we were able to get a great picture of the girls! We were able to get a few different poses. We got one pose of Emalynn standing up next to a column holding an apple and some leaves. That turned out cute...but what was even better was when we put their costumes on!

Emalynn actually let me draw a little triangle and some whiskers on her face, as Aunt Manda tried to distract her until I was done. We got her costume on while the two others were getting dressed as well. Then we tried to get them all to sit together...big mistake! Not happening! Needless to say, we got two pictures of Emalynn by herself, and then a picture of Aiden and Olivia and then some of Olivia in their costumes. The picture with all three of them didn't happen. By the time we were finished actually taking pictures we were in their for about 45 minutes and the kids were getting restless.

And we still had to pick what photos we wanted! Oh what a day!
